TypeOrbit, a mobile app designed to make exploring typefaces more interactive and easier to approach. When I choose a typeface for a project, I usually start by looking for its overall feeling or personality before diving into the technical details. The challenge that I’ve encountered is that there are hundreds of typefaces that can give off a similar vibe, and many font tools present them in dense and technical interfaces which can make it difficult for the users to navigate.

To solve this, I wanted to create a simpler, more visual way for designers to engage with type efficiently in a way that is less technical and inviting. The interface uses a playful system of colorful, planet elements to help make the experience feel lighter and encourage interaction.
